Welcome to my web page. Your choice of plastic surgeon should be careful and deliberate. "Certification" by the American Board of Plastic Surgery is the key credential of a trained plastic surgeon. Membership in the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery means that a board certified plastic surgeon has met the highest standards for education and experience in cosmetic plastic surgery. The variety of surgical techniques can be confusing to patients. The specific technique is less important than the training, experience and surgical judgement of the operating surgeon. State laws permit any licensed physician to be called a "plastic" or "cosmetic" surgeon, even if not trained as a surgeon. All A.S.A.P.S. members are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and have met additional requirements for clinical experience and continuing education in cosmetic plastic surgery."
